These terms apply when you use the Manna app and this website. By using Manna you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Manna.

Who can use Manna

You must be 18 or older. You sign in with your Apple or Google account and are responsible for what happens under it.

What Manna offers

Manna helps you read and learn the Bible and classic Christian writing through daily portions, explanations, quizzes and review. The scripture shown is from public-domain translations, the King James Version and the World English Bible, and its source is cited. Manna's explanations are prepared with the help of AI and reviewed by people. They are for learning and do not replace a church, a pastor or your own study, and they are not professional, medical or crisis advice.

Memberships and trials

Some of Manna is free, and some needs a paid membership. Memberships are sold and billed by Apple or Google through your store account, renew automatically until you cancel, and are governed by your store's terms as well as these. The price, any trial and the renewal date are shown on the store's own purchase sheet before you pay. You can cancel at any time in your store account settings, and the membership stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting your Manna account does not cancel a membership; cancel it in your store first. Refunds are explained on our refunds page.

Using Manna well

Please do not misuse Manna: do not try to break or overload it, copy it at scale, get into other people's accounts, or use it to harass anyone. When community features arrive, posts must be kind and lawful, and we may remove a post or close an account that breaks these rules.

Our content

The public-domain scripture is free for everyone. Manna's own lessons, explanations, questions, design and software belong to Manna; you may use them for your own learning, but not copy or resell them.

If something goes wrong

We work hard to keep Manna accurate and available, but we provide it as it is, without warranties. As far as the law allows, Manna is not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Ending

You can stop using Manna and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why where we can.
