A day with Manna

Five quiet minutes that add up.

Most people who start the Bible stop in a few weeks. Manna makes each day small enough to finish and good enough to come back to.

  1. 01

    Begin with today's verse

Every reader opens Manna to the same verse that day, with its reference and translation beside it.

    Today's verse
  2. 02

Read one portion of the real text

A few minutes of scripture, cut where the story turns, in the King James Version or the World English Bible. Nothing paraphrased, nothing left out.

A portion of Daniel 2 in the reader
  3. 03

Tap a phrase to understand it

Marked phrases open a short note on the history, the people and the words behind them, always kept apart from scripture itself.

Manna explains the phrase king of kings
  4. 04

    Answer two or three questions

A quick quiz on what you just read, with the reason behind every answer, so the story stays with you.

A quiz question on Daniel 2
  5. 05

    Seal the day

Your day is sealed and counted. Tomorrow's portion arrives at the hour you chose, and your review cards wait when you want them.

    Day 50 is sealed
Built to stay with you

Learning that actually sticks.

Everything in Manna exists to help you understand what you read and remember it a month from now.

Explanations

Every hard phrase, explained in plain words

Ancient titles, places and customs are explained the moment you tap them, with the verse they come from.

37You, O king, are king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, the strength, and the glory.

Manna explains "king of kings"

A title claimed by the great rulers of the ancient Near East, including the kings of Assyria and Babylon. It named a ruler over lesser kings who paid him tribute.

From Daniel 2:37

Built with Claude

Claude prepares every lesson. People approve every word.

Turning a whole book of the Bible into daily lessons takes careful reading: where each day should begin and end, which phrases need explaining, which questions test real understanding. Manna depends on Claude, Anthropic's AI, to do that reading, and on people to check all of it.

The source text

Public-domain translations from eBible.org, each verse stamped with its source and the day it was fetched.

Manna

Claude reads the book

It proposes where the book divides into daily portions, cut where the story turns, through Anthropic's Batch API.

Claude Opus 5.5

Claude drafts the lesson

Plain-language explanations tied to exact phrases, the day's questions with their answers, and the evening's opening line.

The three rules every lesson in Manna is written by

The text comes first

Scripture is shown exactly as its source gives it. Explanations sit apart and say where they come from.

For anyone who wants to really know the Bible's stories and the world they come from, whatever their background.

Honest by design

What happens to my information?

Very little is kept: your sign-in, your settings and your progress, so your days follow you to a new phone. Your searches and questions are never stored. Read the privacy policy.
